A church sound system enhances any spoken
words through using the correct speakers and microphones to suit,
whether these are wireless lapel microphones or hand held microphones.
The correct speakers should be installed within the church to create
full coverage throughout the listening areas, so placement is essential
when designing a church audio system, but of course there are always
obstacles.
For a general church audio system most systems consist of a basic
microphone mixer, amplifier and 100 volt line speakers either side
of the front near the altar, but in some cases this has gone alot
further in using a multi channel PA mixer with numerous microphone
inputs, infil speakers on a delay and the facility to incorporate
live sound through the system for school or band productions.
One item not to forget when installing a sound system within a
church is a hard of hearing induction loop system !!
