Audio Visual Install at The Dome, Doncaster
We are delighted to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive audio visual installation in Doncaster at The Dome, where we were commissioned to design and install a complete AV system for their brand-new, state-of-the-art spin studio.
The project was carefully designed to create an immersive and high-energy environment, supporting dynamic spin classes and enhancing the overall experience for participants.
High-Impact Projection System
At the centre of the visual setup is a powerful projection system designed to deliver bright and engaging visuals for spin sessions.
The installation includes:
- Epson EB-6200 short throw projector 6200 lumens WUXGA resolution
- Sapphire 3-metre fixed frame projection screen in 16:9 widescreen format
The projector was selected for its excellent brightness and ability to produce a large, clear image from a short distance, helping maximise valuable studio space. The fixed frame projection screen is securely mounted on the main wall, providing a clear and unobstructed view for all participants.
The system is fully integrated with the Fitbox unit, delivering important visual cues, performance data, and training content used during spin classes. The entire system is conveniently controlled via an Apple iPad, allowing instructors to manage sessions quickly and easily.
Professional Gym Sound System
To deliver powerful and motivating audio throughout the spin studio, we installed a professional commercial gym sound system using high-quality ceiling speakers.
The audio system includes:
- 4 × Cloud CSC8 ceiling speakers
- Crown Audio stereo amplifier
- Cloud Electronics single-zone mixer
The Cloud CSC8 speakers are strategically positioned within the ceiling grid to provide even sound coverage throughout the studio, ensuring music and instructor guidance remain clear and powerful during high-energy sessions.
Simple and Flexible Audio Control
For ease of use, the system also includes convenient connectivity and control options within the studio:
- Cloud BT1 Bluetooth connection plate for wireless music playback
- Cloud RSL6 remote volume control plate for simple local volume adjustment
This allows instructors to quickly connect personal devices, control music levels, and manage the audio system during classes without needing access to the equipment rack.

To further enhance the atmosphere within the studio, we also installed a dynamic lighting system designed to complement the rhythm and energy of each spin session. Six LED Snap lighting fixtures were carefully mounted within the ceiling grid, creating an immersive lighting environment that reacts to the intensity of the workout.
These intelligent LED lights provide a wide range of customisable lighting effects, including colour changes, pulsing sequences, and dynamic patterns that help energise participants and enhance the overall class experience. The lighting system is controlled via a touchscreen control pad, allowing instructors to easily adjust lighting scenes to match the pace and mood of each session.
By synchronising lighting effects with music and on-screen visuals, the studio now delivers a fully immersive spin class environment that keeps participants engaged and motivated throughout every workout.
