Audio Visual Install Leeds

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive church audio visual installation at Harehills Baptist Church in Leeds, further solidifying our reputation as leading AV integrators in the region. This project focused on creating a modern, engaging, and accessible environment for worship and community events, integrating state-of-the-art Optimal Audio sound systems with high-quality Samsung commercial displays.

The audio overhaul centred around the church’s existing Allen & Heath QU16 mixer, which was seamlessly integrated into the new setup. To enhance stage connectivity and flexibility, an Allen & Heath AB168 Portable Audio Rack was installed, providing robust I/O for performers and presenters. The main body of the church now benefits from two powerful Optimal Audio Cuboid 12 speakers, strategically installed at a high level over the stage area, complemented by a Sub 15 Bass speaker on stage for rich, full-range sound.

To ensure even sound system installation in challenging architectural spaces, a pair of Optimal Audio Cuboid 8 speakers function as infil speakers on the pillars, with additional Cuboid 8 units installed in the transept and on the balcony. For the creche area, a dedicated Cuboid 3 speaker provides clear audio without disturbing the main service. Powering this advanced audio system are reliable Crown amplifiers, housed securely within a dedicated equipment cabinet alongside four Sennheiser radio mic systems for wireless vocal clarity, an Ampetronic hearing loop amplifier to ensure accessibility for those with hearing impairments, and a DBX crossover for precise frequency management.

Visually, the church has been transformed with a network of high-definition Samsung commercial displays. Two impressive 75″ Samsung Commercial TV display screens, mounted on heavy-duty Sanus wall arm brackets, provide prominent viewing for the main congregation. A Samsung 43″ screen serves as a convenient preview display facing the stage, aiding presenters and worship leaders. For broader visual coverage, two Samsung 43″ screens act as repeater displays on the pillars, with additional 43″ units located in the transept and on the balcony. Even the creche area has been equipped with a Samsung 32″ TV screen, ensuring visual continuity throughout the premises. All visual content is distributed efficiently via two Bluestream HDMI over CAT 5 distribution units, with discreet CAT5 receivers installed behind each TV display for a clean, integrated finish.

To further enhance the church’s outreach capabilities, a cutting-edge camera streaming system has been implemented. This features a Data Video PT285 4K PTZ camera, mounted on a wall bracket for optimal positioning, which connects seamlessly to both an RMC180 Controller for precise remote operation and an Atem Mini production switcher for professional-grade video mixing and live streaming.
