Definition Audio Visual is pleased to have completed another professional audio visual installation in Lincoln, providing a local scout hut with a flexible and reliable audio visual system for meetings, presentations, activities and community events.

The project was designed to improve both the visual and audio experience within the venue, while keeping the equipment practical, easy to operate and discreetly installed.

Epson Laser Projector Installation

For the visual system, we installed a high-brightness Epson 5,200-lumen WUXGA laser projector. The projector provides a bright, clear image and is well suited to the scout hut environment, including situations where there is ambient lighting.

To provide a secure installation and ensure the projector was correctly positioned, it was mounted using a robust B-Tech projector bracket, which was carefully fixed to the existing steel girder structure.

This provides a professional and secure projector installation while making the best use of the available space.

Professional Audio System

The audio system installation was designed to provide clear and evenly distributed sound throughout the main area of the scout hut.

Four Optimal Audio Cuboid 6 speakers were installed in carefully selected positions to provide consistent coverage throughout the room. This allows speech, presentations, announcements and music to be heard clearly without relying on a single loudspeaker position.

Central Audio Equipment Rack

The main audio equipment was installed within a discreet wall-mounted rack cabinet located in the office.

The system includes:

• Cloud 6-channel mixer for flexible audio control
• Sennheiser handheld radio microphone system for presentations and announcements
• Denon Bluetooth audio unit for convenient wireless music streaming
• Crown stereo amplifier to provide reliable power to the loudspeakers

The equipment has been configured as a complete system, giving the scout hut a straightforward and versatile solution that can be used for a wide range of activities.
