We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a professional AV system installation in Leeds, delivered at the prestigious ballroom of the Leeds Marriott Hotel. At the heart of the system is the Cloud Electronics DCM1 programmable zone mixer, installed within the control room. This powerful mixer enables precise audio zoning, allowing operators to manage sound distribution across multiple areas of the ballroom.

To enhance usability, Cloud DCM1 wall panels have been installed in each of the four zones. These panels allow users to:

Flexible Audio Connectivity Solutions

For seamless integration with external devices, we installed Cloud input plates in each room, providing easy laptop audio connectivity.

Additionally, a dual XLR input plate has been positioned at the front of the ballroom, supporting:

Integration with Existing Bose Speaker System

The venue’s existing Bose ceiling speaker system has been fully integrated into the new AV setup, ensuring consistent and high-quality sound performance.

Control is managed via the Cloud CDR-1 programmable wall panel, enabling localized volume adjustments. A Cloud LE1 input plate has also been installed to allow dedicated laptop audio input, particularly useful when the ballroom is divided into separate event spaces.

Enhanced Sound with Electro-Voice Speakers

To further improve clarity and coverage, six Electro-Voice ZX1i wall-mounted speakers have been installed. These are powered by the venue’s existing Crest Audio amplifiers, delivering powerful and balanced sound across all zones.

TOA wireless microphone receivers
