We recently completed another professional AV system installation in York at Staycity Aparthotels York, delivering a fully integrated audio-visual and furniture solution for their new business suite.

Projection & Display Installation

The meeting space is equipped with a high-performance BenQ 5000 lumen projector, providing bright, clear Full HD visuals suitable for presentations, training sessions, and meetings.

Audio System Installation

For clear and even sound coverage, we installed:

  • Apart Audio ceiling speakers for discreet, high-quality audio
  • A compact amplifier, neatly installed above the ceiling for a clean, space-saving finish

Connectivity Solutions

To ensure simple and flexible connectivity for users:

  • A wall-mounted HDMI input plate for quick laptop connection
  • An angled HDMI plate installed within the floor box for convenient access from anywhere in the room

Bespoke Furniture Solution

In addition to the AV system, we designed, manufactured, and installed a complete set of custom furniture tailored to the space, including:

  • A 6-section modular meeting table
  • A display cabinet
  • A lectern
  • Meeting room chairs

The furniture was specifically designed to be lightweight and easy to reconfigure, allowing the room to adapt to multiple layouts such as:

  • Classroom style
  • Boardroom meetings
  • Open space events

About the Venue

Staycity Aparthotels York offers both short and long-stay serviced apartments, complete with fully equipped kitchens, furnished living areas, and modern amenities.

Located just outside York’s historic city walls, the site features 197 serviced apartments, ranging from studios to one- and two-bedroom options. The York location also includes a dedicated business suite designed for meetings, training, and events.

This project delivered a flexible, modern meeting space combining high-quality AV technology with adaptable furniture. The result is a professional environment that supports a wide range of uses while remaining simple for end users to operate.

Bespoke Furniture by Quadra Furniture

As part of the complete room fit-out, Quadra AV Furniture designed and manufactured additional bespoke elements to complement the space.

This included a matching lectern and a three-compartment storage cabinet, both tailored to align with the overall room design and functionality.

Quadra also supplied a set of cantilever-designed chairs, which are:

  • Stackable for efficient storage
  • Lightweight and easy to move
  • Ideal for multi-use environments with changing room layouts

This furniture solution enhances the flexibility of the space, supporting quick and easy reconfiguration for different types of meetings and events.
