Projector Installations West Yorkshire

Definition Audio Visual recently completed a commercial projector installations for Hippo Digital at their offices in Leeds West Yorkshire, providing a high-quality projection system designed to enhance their meeting room presentation capabilities.

High-Brightness Projection System

At the heart of the installation is a Panasonic PT‑VZ580, a commercial-grade projector known for its brightness and sharp image quality. This powerful unit delivers clear and vibrant visuals, making it ideal for presentations, video content, and collaborative meetings.

The projector was securely mounted using a Peerless-AV projector mount bracket, ensuring stable positioning and optimal projection alignment within the meeting room.

Motorised Projection Screen

To complement the projector, we installed an Elite Screens 110-inch motorised projection screen in a 16:9 widescreen format. The screen was carefully mounted onto the room’s existing wooden pelmet, allowing it to integrate neatly into the room design while providing a large and clear viewing surface.

The motorised operation allows the screen to be easily deployed during meetings and retracted when not in use, maintaining a tidy and professional environment.

Flexible Connectivity

For convenient laptop connectivity throughout the room, we installed high-quality HDMI infrastructure from Kramer Electronics. HDMI cabling runs to Vision Tech modular HDMI connection plates located at both the front and rear of the meeting room.

This layout allows presenters to easily connect their devices from different positions in the room, ensuring a flexible and user-friendly presentation setup.

This installation provides Hippo Digital with a modern and reliable projection system, delivering:

The new AV setup enhances the meeting room environment and ensures staff and visitors can deliver presentations quickly and effectively.

As part of the AV upgrade for Hippo Digital in Leeds, we also installed a simple and reliable sound system to support presentations, meetings, and training sessions.

Audio Control and Amplification

At the centre of the system is a TOA Corporation 120-watt mixer amplifier, which provides both amplification and source control for the room. This compact all-in-one unit offers straightforward operation while delivering enough power to ensure clear sound throughout the meeting space.

Wireless Microphone System

To provide flexibility for presenters, we installed two professional wireless microphone systems from Audio-Technica:

• Handheld wireless microphone for speeches and presentations

• Wireless lapel (clip-on) microphone for hands-free presentations

These wireless systems allow presenters to move freely around the room without being restricted by cables, making them ideal for training sessions and interactive meetings.

Speaker Installation

To deliver balanced and consistent audio coverage, we installed two Apart Audio Mask 6 speakers finished in white. The speakers are mounted in opposite corners of the room, a positioning choice that helps distribute sound evenly across the space while maintaining a discreet and tidy appearance.
