Audio Visual Installation Mirfield – we were contracted to install a new and updated audio visual system installation within the Salvation Army’s large hall in Mirfield, West Yorkshire as their existing Audio visual system was slightly outdated and was in need of an overhaul.
For the sound system installation in the main hall area we installed four Martin Audio X15 speakers which we suspended from their existing wooden beams which is powered from a Crown XLI3500 stereo amplifier installed in the rack cabinet.
The Yamaha 24 channel PA mixer was installed at the back of the room giving them the facility to control all 24 channels of mic or line level inputs from the band via their existing multi core stage box.
For music they have access to an Apart Audio single CD player which can also play music files from a USB stick or their existing computer or laptop.
Additional to their new sound system installation we have also installed two Audio Technica Radio microphones one been a handheld radio mic system and the other a headset system.
They had an existing hearing loop flat copper tape system installed under the carpet but we opted to install a new Ampetronic hearing loop amplifier for the hard of hearing.
The visual installation consisted of two LG 65” large format 4K TV screens which we installed on heavy duty wall arm brackets angled into the congregation.
Due to the distance we had to install a Kramer HDMI over CAT6 system which consisted of a 1 in 3 out HDMI distribution unit connected to three HDMI transmitters over Kramer’s DGKAT cabling to the HDMI receivers installed behind the TV’s.
